Gather and Grow
Sunday, March 28, Ascutney Outdoors, Brownsville, Vermont
At the the first-annual event of this kind, 26 young women and 10 adult mentors spent the day building community and connections with women in the sport of cycling across New England.
Thanks to support from the Moriah Wilson Foundation, we were able to welcome Lea Davison to the summit to share her film “It Will Be Different For You.” Seeing Lea’s journey on screen reminded us that happiness is fast and that an unrelenting commitment to equity and excellence WILL create lasting change for the next generation. We were also thrilled to be joined by local female adaptive athletes for an incredible demo, a local yoga teacher for post-lunch movement, and Sarah Lange, elite athlete and registered dietitian, who taught a workshop on fueling for health and wellness on and off the bike. ALL of these presenters reinforced the message that limitless is truly a mindset. It was a packed day! We’re leaving stronger, more confident, and ready for whatever the trails ahead bring us.
